End User License Agreement (EULA)
Effective Date: March 25, 2026
By installing or using the Sector game (the "Game"), you accept the terms of this Agreement.
1. License
1.1. The Game is licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, personal license to install and use the Game on a compatible device for personal, non-commercial purposes.
1.2. The license covers the client application only. The server side is not licensed.
2. Restrictions
2.1. The following are prohibited:
(a) decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the Game, except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
(b) modifying the Game or creating derivative works;
(c) using any elements of the Game to train machine learning models or AI systems;
(d) using cheats, hacks, bots, modified clients, or other third-party software to interact with the Game;
(e) using the Game for commercial purposes, including boosting or account leveling for payment;
(f) distributing, selling, or sublicensing the Game;
(g) creating unauthorized servers or emulating the server side;
(h) extracting data from the Game through scraping or automated collection.
2.2. Where law permits decompilation under section 2.1(a), any results obtained are automatically assigned to us. If assignment is not possible under applicable law, you grant us an exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual license to such results.
3. Virtual Items
3.1. Virtual items and currency are provided under a license. You acquire no ownership or other property rights in them, regardless of how they were obtained. They have no monetary value and may not be exchanged for real currency.
3.2. We may modify, rebalance, or remove Virtual Items. This does not limit your rights under applicable consumer law.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1. All rights in the Game — code, graphics, sounds, mechanics, interface — belong to Sector or our licensors. This Agreement does not transfer any IP rights to you.
4.2. By posting content in the Game, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use it in connection with the operation of the Service.
4.3. This Agreement does not create any rights in favor of third parties.
5. Anti-Cheat and Monitoring
5.1. We may apply technical protection measures that monitor the operation of the Game on your device. By using the Game, you consent to such monitoring.
5.2. Your interactions in the Game, including text chat, may be monitored and recorded.
5.3. Upon detection of violations, we may take action against all accounts associated with the same device or network address.
6. Termination of License
6.1. We may terminate the license upon breach of this Agreement. Upon termination, you lose access to your account and Virtual Items. Termination of the license for a breach constitutes full performance of our licensing obligations. This does not limit your rights under applicable consumer law.
6.2. You may terminate the license at any time by uninstalling the Game.
7. Disclaimer and Liability
7.1. Nothing in this Agreement excludes our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, fraud, or breach of your mandatory consumer rights.
7.2. Subject to section 7.1, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7.3. For users in the USA: THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
8. Updates
8.1. We may release updates that change functionality, balance, or content. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of such changes.
9. Governing Law
9.1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Dispute resolution is governed by section 11 of the Terms of Service.
9.2. This Agreement is read together with the Terms of Service. In the event of conflict: on matters of license and IP — this Agreement governs; on all other matters — the Terms of Service govern.
10. General
10.1. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force. We may assign our rights without your consent.
10.2. Sections 2, 3, 4, and 7 survive termination of the license.
